 Dr. Gunton is a graduate of Stanford University and received her medical degree from the University of California, San Fransisco in 1995. She completed her internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and pursued her residency and fellowship training at the Wills Eye Hospital. She trained under Joseph H. Calhoun M.D. for both her residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology. Subsequently, she practiced at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children for several years, and then joined Dr. Calhoun in his practice of Pediatric Ophthalmology in July 2003. Dr. Calhoun is the Past President (2002-2003) of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and former Director of the Pediatric Ophthalmology Department of Wills Eye Hospital. He retired from the practice of medicine in June 2007, and Dr. Gunton continues with his practice. Click on "Meet our Physicians" for more information.
